May 2nd 2018 - Sounds from the Backyards, quarter finalist at Angeles Doc film festival
Los Angeles, CA, May 2018 – Jeremy Mowery's short documentary, Sounds from the Backyards, was an official selection at Angeles Doc film festival as a quarter finalist. The festival was a part of Talent Factory's annual event that took place the evening of May 2nd at Two Roads theater. Actor, stuntman, and producer, Johnny Martin was the keynote speaker at the event.
April 14th 2018 - The Last Tamale, directed by, Jeremy Mowery, wins the Houston Comedy Film Festival Most Original Concept Award
Houston, TX, April 2018 – Jeremy Mowery, an independent filmmaker, after being nominated for two awards at the Houston Comedy Film Festival, the first for Best Short Comedy and second for Most Original Concept, has won the Most Original Concept Award for his original short comedy, The Last Tamale. The film screened today along with many other hilarious shorts and features, at the Alamo Drafthouse in Katy, TX. One of the film's leading actresses, Angelica Mercado, was there to receive the award, representing the cast and crew of, The Last Tamale.
December 14th 2017 - Jeremy Mowery Wins Award in Best Shorts Film Competition
